Women Into Construction Programme

Join Anjana Raj, Social Value lead, for an information session about the Women Into Construction Employment Programme and the opportunities at Sir Robert McAlpine in the North of Tyne region.

Are you based in the North of Tyne region, interested in a future in construction but not sure where to start or how to apply?

Sir Robert McAlpine is working alongside the organisation "Women Into Construction" to deliver an information session about the six week programme available to women wanting to start a new career in the construction industry.

The six week programme includes:

  • Construction related training including Level 1 Health & Safety, CSC Card
  • High quality work placement at key construction sites across the region
  • 1-2-1 WiC support including travel and childcare expenses

There are a variety of roles available including: Document Control, Project Administration, CAD technician, Site Engineer, Safety, Health & Wellbeing Adviser, Environmental Manager, Sustainability/ Social Value Coordinator and Trade based trainee positions.

The programme is open to all women aged 16+, who live in the North of Tyne region and can commit to a full-time programme starting on the 30th January 2023.
