Delivered by Build UK in partnership with CITB, Open Doors offers a unique chance for the public to go behind the scenes of live construction sites, offices, factories, and training centres across Great Britain, and discover how the communities they live in are shaped and constructed by an industry with a diverse range of career paths to offer.

The following Sir Robert McAlpine live sites signed up to take part in Build UK’s Open Doors which unfortunately has now been cancelled. We hope to share virtual tours as soon as these are available. Watch this space..

  • Battersea Power Station Phase 3, London
  • Chapel Wharf, Salford
  • Victoria Square, Woking
  • Edinburgh Park, Edinburgh
  • Mustard Wharf, Leeds

Joining in with the Open Doors initiative allows visitors to see what is happening behind the hoardings, and appreciate first-hand the skills of the people involved in making these construction projects happen as well as the different career opportunities available across our industry.
