We’re making it a £1m for Maggie’s!

Colleagues from across the business are taking part in a virtual charity event which will see them logging fitness miles whilst helping reach the £1m fundraising milestone for Maggie’s.

Since 2016 we've been on a mission to raise £1m for Maggie's. The fantastic news is we are nearly there and our new challenge, ‘Make it a £1m for Maggie’s’ will help us get us to the magic million mark.

For our brand new Spring challenge, which starts on 21st March, we're encouraging our people to walk, run, swim or cycle 770 miles in teams of up to 10 people for our #MillionForMaggies challenge.

Why 770 miles? Because that's the distance between all the Maggie's centres we've built in the UK. Over the 35 days of the challenge, that works out at 77 miles each for a team of 10. There is the option, of course, to take the challenge on with fewer people if participants wish to do more miles.

Our team’s virtual journey will start from Maggie’s Forth Valley in Scotland and ending at our latest project, Maggie’s Royal Free in London.
