Inspiring Future Generations with #iBuiltThis2019

We are proud to be supporting the FIS #iBuiltThis2019 campaign as part of our ongoing commitment to inspire future generations to choose a career in the UK construction industry.

We are delighted to be supporting through sponsorship the 14-18 year old category in the FIS #iBuiltThis2019 competition to help inspire future generations to the construction industry.

This exciting competition is open to everyone with a passion for building, construction, design, fit-out, interiors and more. Applicants are encouraged to submit anything as long as it’s connected with the built environment, allowing entrants to be as creative as possible whether it’s a model, physical structure, drawing or digital design using the latest technology.

As part of the campaign, we will be encouraging our colleagues to get involved by sharing photos of the projects they are proud to have built and post via their own social media networks using the hashtag: #iBuiltThis2019.

The winner of the 14-18 year old category will receive an Apple iPhone XR (64g) plus a visit for them and up to 6 people to one of our live construction sites. They will also have the opportunity for a week’s work experience if studying for a relevant qualification or interested in working in the construction industry.

We look forward to seeing competition entries and wish all applicants, the very best of luck. Winners will be announced by Architect George Clark at the #iBuiltThis2019 Awards ceremony taking place at the UK Construction Week Exhibition on the 8th October.
