The construction playbook, which was published in 2020, set out a platform for a change in the way that major projects and programmes are assessed, procured and delivered.
Since the publication of this playbook, private sector organisations have since further developed "Trust and Productivity - The Private Sector Playbook". The aim of this playbook is to bring clients and delivery organisations together in a manner to outline ways of working and demonstrate how implementing a different approach can lead to more productive projects and better outcomes.
In this roundtable discussion, Alison Cox and Charles Horne will discuss how we can create the right environment to enable a change in mindset and leave behind more traditional behaviours that have been the mainstay in the construction industry. Trust and Productivity has the capacity to be an excellent catalyst for change and if adopted by clients, contractors and other within the private sector supply chain it can create more mutually beneficial relationships.
Alison Cox joins the discussion with a wealth of experience in different delivery environments and has a unique perspective on the outcome of the Broadgate Framework as contractor.
