Join Sir Robert McAlpine at this year's London Build Expo. Head of Digital Construction, Nick Leach, will be speaking on the BIM & Digital Construction stage. Paula McMahon, Regional Supervising Officer will also be talking on a social value panel session.
Nick Leach, Head of Digital Construction at Sir Robert McAlpine will be part of a panel discussion on the first day of the conference, 16th November at 10:30. The panel will be discussing "Digitally transforming the UK's construction industry". Nick will be joined by Rahul Shah of the BSI Group and Marco Bonelli from Vinci Construction.
On the same day we will also have Paula McMahon, Regional Supervising Officer, chairing a panel session on "Social Value in Construction". Paula is an expert in this field and is also a member of our affinity network promoting gender equality within the organisation.
Claire Crompton, Principal Engineer will be participating in a panel focusing on "Women in Construction: Building Connections by Breaking Down Walls". Claire is the co-chair of our Gender Equality Network so is very well placed to highlight the work being done on this issue.
Also on 16th November, Robert Simcock, Regional Facade Manager, will join a panel of experts to discuss all things cladding, sharing their thoughts and challenges from the point of view of a Main Contractor or Consultant.
Presenting on the following day, 17th November, Simone Starnini will be taking part in a panel discussion on 'Meet the Leaders Behind London’s Tall Buildings' on the Future of Construction Stage.

Paula is the Regional Supervising Officer for Sir Robert McAlpine’s North region where she oversees the professional development of future Institution of Civil Engineer members. She also manages the Social Value for the A19 DBFO Project allowing Sir Robert McAlpine to give back to the community in many ways.
Nick has over 19 years’ experience working in the Construction industry and been involved in Building Information Modelling (BIM) technologies in the UK AEC industry for past 10 years.
Claire is a principal design engineer at Sir Robert McAlpine, working in the Civils team of McAlpine Design Group. She also co-chairs the Gender Equality Network where she works closely with other affinity networks to promote diversity and inclusion at Sir Robert McAlpine.
Robert has built and leads the London Façade team at Sir Robert McAlpine. With twenty five years curtain wall and cladding experience he has delivered some of the UK’s most prestigious landmark buildings. Robert has worked for some of the world’s leading Curtain Wall Trade Contractors including Josef Gartner, Permasteelisa and Yuanda. A specialist in design, R&D, performance testing, manufacture, procurement and the installation phases of facade packages. Robert’s expertise lies in delivering challenging and complex projects, he has the rare skillset to enable the practical realisation of Architectural desires
Simone is the Head of Façade Engineering at SRM, overviewing opportunities, tenders, and live projects for the business. Simone also represents SRM with CWCT (Board and Technical Committee) and the Society of Façade Engineering of which he’s a fellow member.
Vaisakh is a Chartered Construction Manager with more than 20 years' experience working in India, the Middle East and the UK. Vaisakh completed his MSc in BIM from Northumbria University and has been part of delivering some of the major construction projects for Sir Robert McAlpine, including Battersea Power Station Phase 3a.
Lubomir is a Digital Construction Manager at Sir Robert McAlpine with international experience across EMEA & APAC. He has experience on implementing BIM level 2 protocols across the entire building lifecycle, from concept stage to project handover. Lubomir has a strong technical knowledge of a range of digital tools with a particular interest in automation which allows creative freedoms in all roles
