Our Chief Executive, Paul Hamer, will take part in a panel session to discuss the future of flexible working.
Our Chief Executive, Paul Hamer, will be joined by the Co-CEO of GlobalGiving, Alex Ritchie, and Rachel Suff, Senior Policy Adviser at CIPD, to discuss "How flexible working will reshape the world of work."
Topics they will be discussing include how to create a culture of flexible and agile working to improve the wellbeing of employees, which, in turn, helps recruitment and the retention of critical talent. The panel will also be looking at how flexible working can impact productivity and engagement, and how this data might inform decision making around the future of flexible working. They will also consider whether market forces are likely to lead to total flexibility or see more people back to the office, a hot topic in the media as politicians push for the working from home era to cease and bring back people to cities.

Paul Hamer was appointed as Chief Executive at Sir Robert McAlpine in 2017. Paul has over 25 years' experience in executive business management, leadership and major project delivery.
Paul is a champion of inclusion and a fervent advocate for better mental health in construction. Since 2019, he has been an active spokesperson on the adoption of flexible working across industry, campaigning to make flexible working available from day one for all.
