CIOB Annual Conservation Conference

We are delighted to be sponsoring the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) Conservation Conference which will look at Future Skills for Traditional Buildings.

We are delighted that Sir Robert McAlpine’s Katharine Cary, Section Engineer and Shauna Farrell, Chief Engineer will be speaking at the CIOB Conference, looking at Future Skills for Traditional Buildings, followed by a live Q&A session.

The conference will consider how the industry can balance the shortage of traditional skills with the need to move to modern methods of working.

At the event we will explore questions such as:

  • What makes the heritage sector an attractive career choice for young people?
  • What are the career options in this sector?
  • What is the role of apprenticeships?
  • Digital solutions for traditional skills.
