CIOB Annual Conservation Conference

Continuing our longstanding partnership with the Chartered Institute Of Building, we will once again be sponsoring their Annual Conservation Conference. The theme of this year's event will look at Lessons for Resilience.

Proudly sponsoring the CIOB Conservation Conference 2022.

This year's CIOB conference will focus on how key organisations within the UK and Europe have responded to, and are coping with, recent events such as COVID-19 and the climate emergency. "Lessons for resilience", the theme of the 2022 conference, could not be more pertinent today than in any other time.

Speakers from different backgrounds will discuss the reaction to climate change from governments around the world, paying particular attention to knee-jerk legislation which is inappropriate for traditional buildings, inevitably causing problems that will need to be resolved in the near future. Alongside this, a series of case studies will be presented that explore how we can ensure that our built heritage remains fit for future generations.

We are delighted to continue our longstanding relationship with the CIOB and look forward to insightful discussions around such a contemporary issue. Our very own Samuel Wilson, Package Manager at St Marylebone Parish Church, will also be presenting.
