Encouraging new talent into construction

As part of our work to encourage more young people to take up careers in construction, we’re supporting the Sir Simon Milton Westminster University Technical College as an employer partner.

Due to open in September, the new college is aimed at 14-19-year-olds who are interested in becoming the next generation of engineers, technicians and innovators.

Students will study for GCSEs and A Levels in many of the core subjects alongside developing project management, problem solving and technical skills by working with real companies.

As a partner we are working with the UTC to create a learning environment where subjects such as maths are made relevant by applying them to real projects.
