Company achieves BS 11000 certification

Sir Robert McAlpine has been awarded BS 11000 certification by Lloyds Register Quality Assurance for collaborative working on the A19 Dishforth to Tyne Tunnel Design Build Finance and Operate contract.

Certification to the full standard was awarded in recognition of the A19 DBFO’s historic and existing collaborative working relationships. It is the first project of its kind to achieve this status in the Highways Agency Maintenance Community Supply Chain.
