We’re delighted to continue our support for the CIRIA BIG Biodiversity Challenge Awards and this year we're sponsoring the Innovation category.
The Awards aim to raise greater awareness of the importance of biodiversity and to demonstrate how biodiversity enhancements can be incorporated at different scales and on different projects.
Helen Denham, Sustainability Manager, Sir Robert McAlpine and 2019 Judging Panel member commented:
“As a first-time judge for these awards, it’s fantastic and rewarding to see a wide diversity of entries this year including marine, heathland and inner-city projects. As a biodiversity champion the lessons learnt from these entries should inspire future contributions.”
The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on 12th September at the Hallam Conference Centre, in central London.
Voting for the 2019 BIG Biodiversity Champion is now open and you can cast your vote via the Big Challenge website.
Wishing all finalists the very best of luck.
