Following on from COP26, the United Nations Climate Change Conference, this edition of the global boardroom will take a closer look at how net zero objectives are impacting upon decision-making. It will also focus on the impact of new technologies on the fabric of business, markets and society.

A more resilient Global Supply Chain is something of critical importance to Sir Robert McAlpine, both from a net zero carbon perspective and for creating a sustainable business model. The previous 18 months have seen dramatic changes in supply chain models and disruption has never been at its highest. This contemporary issue will be at the forefront of debate for many more months to come.
Paul Hamer was appointed Chief Executive Officer at Sir Robert McAlpine in 2017. Paul has over 25 years' experience in executive business management, leadership and major project delivery. Paul is a champion of inclusion and a fervent advocate for better mental health in construction. Since 2019, he has been an active spokesperon on the adoption of flexible working across the industry and beyond.
