Supporting Families in Site-Based Sectors

Lynda Thwaite joins a panel of employers to discuss how they are creating a family-friendly environment for site-based roles

We are proud to join a panel of employers who are leading the way in creating family-friendly environments for parents/carers working in site-based roles.

Almost half of the UK’s parents work at a specific location, and so to achieve family-friendly working requires thinking beyond home and hybrid working.

We are joining senior D&I leaders from Centrica and Rolls-Royce, who like us, have been blazing the trail for creating cultures that support everyone, regardless of their role.

As well as exploring the barriers and how to overcome these, panellists will be discussing how they have been trialling flexible working and their learning from this experience, as well as longer established support networks that foster a family-friendly culture. You can look forward to leaving the webinar with some top tips for cultivating a supportive environment at your workplace.

As a business that prides itself on its family ethos, our ambition is to cultivate a truly inclusive culture. So naturally, we understand the needs of our people in finding the right work life balance to reach their full potential.
