2022 has been an incredibly rewarding year for many of our projects and teams.
The Forge has won four separate awards this year: ‘Digital Excellence’ at the Building Awards (pictured left), ‘Most Innovative Commercial Project’ at the Building Innovation Awards, and both ‘Digital Construction Project of the Year’ and ‘Digital Innovation in Offsite Construction’ at the Digital Construction Awards.
100 Liverpool Street in London was amongst the finalists for the prestigious 2022 RIBA Stirling Prize and was recognised at the Civic Trust Awards, adding to the accolades it received in 2021.
The Henry Daysh Building at Newcastle University, won ‘Refurbishment Project of the Year’ at the Education Estates Awards. Our client, Newcastle University won ‘Client of the Year’ at the same awards, showcasing the great collaboration between our team and the university.
Our Align Joint Venture won the ‘STEM Contribution Award’ at HS2’s Inspiration Awards, for their work creating and delivering a work experience programme for Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) students at a local school. This ground-breaking programme challenged conventional thoughts around work experience in a construction environment and has yielded many positive results for the wider team and students.
Our talented People team were named ‘HR Team of the Year’ at the Construction News Workforce Awards, for their work in implanting new policies for recruitment, training and rewards.
Lastly, our Brand, Marketing and Communications team picked up two awards for their ‘Building to Tokyo’ campaign with our charity partner, Paralympics GB. They won ‘Best Engagement of an Internal Audience in Sponsorship Programme’ at the Corporate Engagement Awards (pictured right) and won ‘Best Employee Engagement’ at the European Sponsorship Awards.
Congratulations to all!
