A team from Integrated Health Projects (IHP), our healthcare joint venture with VINCI Construction UK, pulled on their hiking boots to raise more than £6,500 for a hospital charity.
Our intrepid IHP team at Hexham Hospital recently completed the National Three Peaks Challenge, raising more than £6,500, money that will make a real difference to patients and staff.
The team scaled the heights of Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Snowdon, to raise funds for Bright Northumbria, the charity arm of Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.
Bright Northumbria plays an important role in enhancing patient care by funding vital projects which help improve the patient experience and support staff to provide the very best care.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of friends, family, and supply chain partners, the fundraisers raised an impressive £6,477.50. A special mention goes to Dalkia for their invaluable support with logistics, which helped to make this challenge a success.
This achievement demonstrated the team’s commitment to supporting the hospital community beyond their ongoing refurbishment works in the Endoscopy, Dental, and Oncology wards. Well done to all involved!
