3 for 30 challenge raises £20k for Maggie's

Our peloton of riders rolled into Edinburgh after covering more than 500 miles in five days, all in aid of our charitable partner

More than 500 miles, thousands of metres of elevation gain and countless potholes later, our 3 for 30 Maggie's charity riders have completed their epic adventure.

3 for 30 finish Edinburgh.jpgThe riders received a hero's welcome at Maggie's Edinburgh on Friday 17th July after completing the final leg of their journey.

They achieved their aim of visiting Maggie's centres in three of the Home Nations to celebrate the charity's 30th anniversary.

Setting out from Maggie's Royal Free in London, they traversed the centre of England heading to the North Wales centre in Rhyl before reaching Edinburgh two days later for the ride's conclusion.

All in all the riders - a mixture of our people and colleagues from other organisations - rode more than 500 miles during one of the hottest weeks of the year to complete their epic challenge.

At the time of writing, they have raised more than £21,000, all of which will go towards supporting people living with cancer and their loved ones. Every single penny raised funds vital services for those going through the toughest of times.

It adds to our cyclists' proud legacy of charitable activities for Maggie's, including last year's Tour de Netherlands.

Congratulations to all who took part - we're incredibly proud of you all.

Please continue to donate generously to the team's cause.
