Alex, Assistant Estimator, and Tom, Quantity Surveyor, covered the 96-mile walk from Milngavie to Fort William in a remarkable four-and-a-half days, twice as quickly as the recommended time.
The pair also undertook a number of challenges along the way, including carrying a carrier bag full of items throughout the journey and detouring over tougher and rougher terrain.
If that wasn’t enough, Day Six saw them complete one final challenge set by several donors – a hike up the highest mountain in Britain, Ben Nevis.
Along the route they faced several thousand feet of elevation gain and battled wild, windy weather, forcing them to change plans several times.
Despite all those challenges along the way, they kept their ultimate goal in mind - raising vital funds for Maggie’s.
Thanks to the generous support of their colleagues, families and friends, Alex and Tom have surpassed the £2,500 mark.
There is still time to show your support for their efforts by donating via their fundraising page.
Congratulations to them both on completing an adventure to remember and raising a fantastic amount for Maggie’s in the process.
