Old Market wins BCSC gold

Old Market in Hereford was named winner of the New Centre category at last night’s British Council of Shopping Centres (BCSC) Gold Awards.

Old Market in Hereford was named winner of the New Centre category at last night’s British Council of Shopping Centres (BCSC) Gold Awards.

The development adds to the roll call of schemes delivered by the company to have been honoured with BCSC Gold Awards. Previous winners include Cabot Circus in Bristol, Highcross Leicester and SouthGate Bath.

Awarding the accolade to Old Market, the judges said:

“Based on an open street format, the architectural style and palette of materials respond to their context, creating a sense of place that will stand the test of time.”
