Colleagues set to abseil the ArcelorMittal Orbit for ParalympicsGB

This weekend will see a team of thrill-seeking colleagues from Sir Robert McAlpine abseil the spectacular ArcelorMittal Orbit at London’s Elizabeth Park!

Back in 2012, we had the pleasure of building the iconic Olympic Stadium and ArcelorMittal Orbit observation tower for the London 2012 Games.

Fast forward 10 years later, a brave group of colleagues are set to abseil off the ArcelorMittal Orbit Tower.

They’ll be joined by seven-time Paralympic champion, Hannah Cockcroft, who will be showing her support by taking part in the abseil as we collectively raise funds for ParalympicsGB.

As a family business committed to creating an inclusive workplace culture that welcomes everyone, we are incredibly proud of our partnership with ParalympicsGB

We are supporting the most inspirational team of athletes in the UK because it is the right thing to do, it aligns with our values and reflects both our passion for inclusion and our constant pursuit of excellence.

We wish all those taking part, the very best of luck. You can show your support with a donation via the team page: Sir Robert McAlpine Abseil for ParalympicsGB! fundraising for British Paralympic Association on JustGiving.

With your help, we can harness the power of Paralympic sport to challenge perceptions and help break down barriers for every disabled person in the UK.
