Tour de Barcelona charity bike ride for Maggie's

Sir Robert McAlpine is once again proud to support Maggie's through our next cycling adventure, pedalling 855 miles to Barcelona.

As part of our ongoing fundraising efforts for Maggie’s, our 'Tour de Barcelona' charity cycle ride challenges colleagues to cycle 855 miles through Europe.

Always wanting to go bigger and better than the previous year, this September will see our cycling heroes cover around 855 miles as they pedal their way from Maggie's Southampton to Kalida in Barcelona!

Kalida is an independent cancer centre that is part of the international Maggie's network, and will receive a percentage of funds raised.

Sir Robert McAlpine has been in partnership with Maggie's since 2016, and in that time, we have raised over £1m!

All the funds raised from our Tour de Barcelona will mean that people with cancer receive support by expert staff, whether it's help for a friend, family member or carer, benefits advice, psychological support, or just a quiet place with a garden to enjoy.

  • £22 could pay for one visit to a Maggie’s centre, so someone with cancer can get expert psychological, practical, and financial support for free

  • £37 could pay for one session with a Benefits Advisor, so someone with cancer can get critical financial advice and support

  • £100 could pay for one support group led by a Cancer Support Specialist so that people with cancer can meet and talk to others who are in a similar situation

Thanks to our sponsors, CAD21P+HS Architects, Ryder Architecture, Curtins and WT Partnership who have made a generous donation to support our fundraising efforts for Maggie’s.

If you are able to do so, please support our cyclists by donating to their pages below. Thank you.
