We will continue to focus on:
Despite the adverse impact of Covid-19 in 2020, the trajectory of the business is positive, with a strong order book, 90% secured or nearly secured budget for 2022, and a healthy cash balance. Our volume of work with established clients goes from strength to strength and we will continue to build on these relationships. Whilst we continue our focus on the key sectors in which we have expertise, we will invest in strategic areas such as healthcare and civil engineering.
In order to deliver exemplary projects, excellence is at the heart of our strategy. We are undertaking a business improvement programme focussed on modernising our infrastructure to equip our people and projects with the tools, processes and systems that support Build Sure excellence and provide additional resilience.
2022 will see us continue to drive towards realising our ambition of making Sir Robert McAlpine the best place to work. This will translate into supporting our people so that they can thrive, personally and professionally, and championing causes that matter to society, such as equality, inclusion, flexible working, climate action, creating social value and aligning with the UN’s sustainable development goals.
