National BCO Awards 2025

ONE Station Hill reaches the national final after scooping South West and Wales regional prize for Commercial Workplace

Our commitment to sustainable engineering excellence has helped put ONE Station Hill in the running for a prestigious national award.

The project will go up against four competitors in the Commercial Workplace category at the national British Council for Offices awards after winning the South West and Wales regional award.

ONE Station Hill provides 275,000 sq ft of best-in-class workspace in the heart of Reading in Berkshire, and reached practical completion in November 2024.

The building’s outstanding sustainability features were highlighted by the judges. In their summary, the judges said it is ‘a workspace that exemplifies sustainable office design’.

Sustainability features include an all-electric building using air source heat pumps and extensive smart building technology. As a result, the project was awarded BREEAM ‘Outstanding’ certification, a Platinum ‘WELL’ score and an EPC ‘A’ rating.

In addition, the judges commented: “With amenities including a fitness club, rooftop terraces, and smart tech integration via its dedicated app, ONE Station Hill successfully promotes productivity and wellness.”

ONE Station Hill is part of a wider development adjacent to Reading train station, and tenants include global firms PepsiCo and PwC.

The winners of the national award will be announced on Tuesday 7 October at a ceremony at the Grosvenor House JW Marriott Hotel, London.
