We look forward to welcoming guests to the forthcoming Best of British Charity Lunch, an event which is dedicated to raising funds for ParalympicsGB.
The afternoon will not only celebrate the incredible performances of the athletes, but also highlight the importance of ParalympicsGB in working to improve the everyday lived experiences of disabled people in society.
Taking place on the 19th October at the prestigious Guildhall in London, this event promises to be a memorable occasion, as we come together to celebrate sporting excellence.
Organised in collaboration with ParalympicsGB, our Best of British Charity Lunch is a unique opportunity to recognise the achievements of ParalympicsGB on and off the field of play. The event allows us to come together and support ParalympicsGB in sending the best prepared team to the Games and contribute to their ambition of improving the lives of 16 million disabled people across the UK.
Among the guests in attendance will be four outstanding ParalympicsGB athletes: From L to R: Amy Conroy, Chris Skelley, Charlotte Henshaw and Richard Whitehead. These remarkable individuals have not only showcased their immense talent and skills on the global stage but have also inspired millions with their resilience, determination and passion for their respective sports.
Our event wouldn’t be possible without the backing of our Best of British supporters who are helping us to raise funds for ParalympicsGB. Thanks go to: King & Moffatt Building Services, Getjar Ltd, MPB Structures, SES Engineering Ltd, Gap Group, Morson, EY Parthenon, Buildots, FSP, J&D Pierce and John F Hunt.
Ahead of the forthcoming Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, our Best of British Charity Lunch offers a unique opportunity to connect with ParalympicsGB athletes and gain insight into their training regimes, personal stories and aspirations for future competitions. It will also provide the chance to hear from ParalympicsGB CEO Dave Clarke share what the organisation are doing to lead the way in inspiring a better world for disabled people, through sport and how important our support is.
Adding to the excitement of the event will be a live prize draw, open to all and accessible through a live stream on Instagram. The draw aims to provide an interactive and inclusive experience for everyone, while further contributing to the incredible cause we are supporting. Watch this space for further details coming soon..
We believe in the transformative power of sports and the positive impact it can have on the lives of individuals with disabilities. Therefore, 100% of the proceeds from the Best of British Charity Lunch will directly benefit ParalympicsGB in helping them to achieve their mission of enabling world-leading performance at the Paralympic Games and to drive positive, sustainable change in UK society.
