How to successfully help veterans transition to construction careers

Our Head of HR and former servicewoman, Rachael Smith, shares her thoughts on how to make the most of veterans' skills and experience.

Veterans’ capabilities can be of significant benefit to the construction industry, but the transition isn’t always smooth without the right support from employers.

In this article for Construction Management, our Head of HR, Rachael Smith, discusses five ways our industry can become a landing place for veterans as they transition to life outside of the military.

Our veterans recruitment strategy has three pillars: recruit, retain and advocate.
