Constructing Excellence North East 2026

We have been nominated in three categories for this year's Constructing Excellence North East (CENE) awards.

News Awards Hexham Constructing Excellence Team

The recently-completed Hexham General Hospital Phase 3 is up for the Retrofit and Integration & Collaborative Working awards.

The third and final phase was delivered by Integrated Health Projects (IHP), the healthcare joint venture between VINCI Building and Sir Robert McAlpine.

Completed earlier this year, the state-of-the-art operating theatres provide a larger, multi-purpose space, allowing the Trust to deliver a wider range of procedures.

The project is aiming for back-to-back wins after taking the Integration & Collaborative Working category last year for Phase 2 (pictured right).

We've also received a company-wide nomination for the Social Value award, recognising how we place social impact at the heart of project delivery throughout all of our North East-based projects.

The winners will be announced at the Grand Hotel in Gosforth Park, Newcastle on Friday 12th June.
