Two nominations at Constructing Excellence Awards

Hexham General Hospital and Riverside Multi Storey Car Park projects to battle it out nationally after regional wins

Two of our North East-based projects have made it to the Constructing Excellence Awards 2025.

Their inclusion in the annual event comes after they ran out on top in the regional awards earlier this year.

Phase Two of the Hexham General Hospital project is nominated for the Integration & Collaborative Working award. This is an IHP project, our joint healthcare venture with VINCI.

The project completed in September 2024 and includes a brand-new maternity unit as well as enhanced oncology, women’s health and endoscopy facilities.

The Riverside Multi Storey Car Park at Farringdon Row in Sunderland is also a finalise Infrastructure Project of the Year category.

The project, which boasts an award-winning design that seamlessly blends functionality and aesthetics, completed in 2023 and was awarded Best New Car park at the British Parking Awards in the same year.

The winners will be revealed on Friday 7th November.
