    On the first day of our festive countdown, we thank our talented teams and partners who have been delivering outstanding projects for our clients throughout the year.

  • Day 2

    Two months ago, on Thursday 6th october 2022, our Best of British lunch raised an amazing £56,000 for ParalympicsGB to support athletes on the road to the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games!

  • Day 3

    We highlight the importance of mental health and wellbeing. On World Mental Health Day 2022, Sir Robert McAlpine's Director of People & Infrastructure, Karen Brookes wrote an article for Infrastructure Intelligence advocating open, honest conversations about mental health and sharing ways the industry can offer wellbeing support at work.

  • Day 4

    We put the spotlight on the Forge, the world's first large-scale office scheme to be built using a standardised "kit of parts", also known as P-DfMA. Thanks to innovation and a collaborative approach, the Forge has already collected a number of prestigious industry awards.

  • Day 5

    We celebrate our wonderful partnership with cancer care charity, Maggie's. In 2016, we committed to raising £1million for Maggie's to help people affected by cancer. In April 2022, we announced we had reached this fundraising milestone in just six years, thanks to the dedication and creative fundraising efforts of our people, clients, and supply chain partners.

  • Day 6

    We celebrate Sir Robert McAlpine's infrastructure projects. Amongst the highlights delivered by our civil engineering workforce this year is the replacement of the A533 Expressway bridge near Runcorn. The 67m steel structure was built on the site compound and then slowly transported down the embankment, along the carriageway, and moved into position.

    We celebrate our amazing cycling heroes who cycled 855 miles across Europe for our charity partner, Maggie's! We were proud to fundraise for Maggie's through this cycling adventure in September 2022.
