Latest Strong Foundations Grants awarded

Twenty six projects have been awarded funding to support a range of projects, taking the total amount we have funded via ActionFunder to more than £450,000

We’re thrilled to announce the latest charities and community groups to receive funding from our Strong Foundations Grants via ActionFunder.

Collectively, six of our projects have funded 26 different worthy causes in London and Manchester. These are in addition to recipients of the Armed Forces Community Fund, which were announced last month.

It takes the total amount we’ve awarded via the ActionFunder platform to more than £450,000 since 2021.

The grants aim to provide the financial backing and support needed to turn ideas into action, strengthen existing projects, and foster a sense of community empowerment.

Awardees cover all areas of the community, with grants ranging from £1,000 to £4,500 – click on the links below to find out more about each individual project and what our grants are helping to achieve.

Anjana Raj, Company Social Value Manager at Sir Robert McAlpine, said: “Congratulations to those who have successfully applied for one of our Strong Foundations Grants. We received a large amount of entries, which made for some tough decisions for our panel.

“These grants are already being put to good use across the country, and I thank ActionFunder for their support in helping us to deliver grants straight to the heart of the communities who need it most.”
