Tour de Netherlands cyclists

Our team of cyclists are making their way from Maggie's Royal Marsden in London to the charity's centre in Groningen, aiming to raise £25,000

Training complete, brake pads checked and saddles adjusted – our two-wheeled fundraisers set off on the first leg of their monumental Tour De Netherlands this morning.

The Tour de Netherlands cyclists sitting and chatting as they prepare to depart London for Groningen. Our cyclists, made up of people from across the business and friends of SRM, were welcomed by representatives from Maggie’s at the charity's Royal Marsden centre in London for the start of their marathon ride.

After a look around the facilities and final checks, it was pedal to the metal as the riders set off on a trip which will see them cover 500 miles to the Maggie’s centre in Groningen in the Netherlands.

The trip represents a monumental effort from all involved, so please get behind our legends in lycra by donating to help them reach, and hopefully exceed, their fundraising goal.

However large or small your donation, every pound raised will help the team keep those legs moving during the tough miles, and every penny raised will go directly to Maggie’s to ensure people with cancer, and their families, get the support they need.

Our thanks also go to the support team accompanying the riders on their grand cycling tour.
