Sir Robert McAlpine and Sir Robert McAlpine Capital Ventures are proud to once again be Partners of the UKBCSD's Sustainable Growth Pavilion at this year's UKREiiF, which takes place at the Royal Armouries, Leeds.

UKREiiF has become the must-attend event in the construction industry. We are delighted to be Partners of UKBCSD's Sustainable Growth Pavilion, alongside Sir Robert McAlpine Capital Ventures, and speaking at the 2024 event, which promises to be the biggest and best yet.

UKREiiF connects people, places and businesses to accelerate the Levelling Up Agenda, whilst unlocking sustainable, inclusive and transformational investment across the UK.

This 3-day event will bring together the public sector – with every core UK city and region involved – alongside Government, investors, funders, developers, housebuilders and more.

Wednesday 22nd May

Our Sir Robert McAlpine and Sir Robert McAlpine Capital Ventures team will host two panel sessions joined by industry experts to delve into the importance of Refurbishment and Reusing existing buildings and delivering a sustainable new generation of homes.

12pm Retention and re-use, an inevitable future for UK construction?
A panel of leading experts will look in detail at best practice industry examples of retention and re-use. In particular, they will explore the importance of an early collaborative approach between stakeholders, including clients, developers, contractors, and designers, for successful outcomes and a measurable, positive impact on sustainability and decarbonisation.

Bringing together a diverse panel of guests to discuss how the Build to Rent sector fulfils its potential. The Panel will consider the challenges of delivering on the ground (including viability, funding, planning, The Building Safety Act, net zero and whole-life costing) and how these might be overcome to allow BTR to become a fundamental feature of our national housing solution as well as a sustainable ingredient in the fabric of our towns and cities.
