Construction Strategy Forum

Explore AI, BIM, and workforce innovation with industry leaders at the Construction Strategy Forum.

Shaping the future of the built environment

The Construction Strategy Forum brings together senior leaders and innovators to explore the future of the built environment. Over two days attendees will explore the strategies, technologies, and partnerships driving transformation across construction.

This year’s Forum will feature insights from our own Robert Simcock, Karen Brookes, Nicola Markall, and Nick Leach. Together, they’ll explore some of the industry’s most pressing challenges, from project delivery and AI to digital innovation, and workforce development and inclusivity. The forum is a valuable opportunity to gain fresh perspectives, share best practice, and connect with peers shaping the future of construction.

Our team will be sharing their expertise on the following panels:

Thursday, 23rd October: Group Discussion: Fixing the Foundations – Talent, Training, and Inclusion

With the industry facing a major skills shortage, this session, led by Karen Brookes, Chief People Officer, and Nicola Markall, Workforce Planning Director, will explore how to build a more capable and inclusive workforce. The discussion will focus on improving recruitment practices, supporting employee development, and fostering collaboration to attract and retain diverse talent, ensuring the sector is equipped for sustainable growth and resilience.

Friday, 24th October: Th!nk Tank – Stream One: Bridging Design and Operation with Advanced BIM Technologies

Nick Leach, Director of Digital Construction, explores how Building Information Modelling (BIM) is reshaping the construction landscape. This session will delve into BIM’s evolving role in driving collaboration, enabling real-time decision-making and enhancing long-term asset performance. Expect insights into its integration with AI and augmented reality, and the cultural shifts needed to fully embrace digital transformation.

Friday, 24th October: Closing Keynote: AI-Driven Innovation – Shaping the Future of Complex Façades

Discover how AI is revolutionising façade engineering in this keynote led by Robert Simcock, Façade Engineering Director. Through real project examples, Robert will demonstrate how AI enhances precision, adaptability, and strategic decision-making from the earliest stages of design. Learn how intelligent workflows are improving coordination and performance, and how similar approaches can be applied to your own projects.
