Modular Matters Conference & Exhibition

Join Scott Tacchi, Head of MMC at Sir Robert McAlpine, as he chairs a panel session at this year's Modular Matters Conference at the NCC in Birmingham.

Modular Matters features the latest developments, innovations, and investments in the volumetric modular sector.

Modular technology is ever evolving and the aim of this year's conference is to help attendees keep pace with this fast-moving sector.

Scott Tacchi, Head of MMC at Sir Robert McAlpine will be facilitating a panel session on "Skills & Supply Chain" at 12:30 on 7th February. Some of the panellists will include Dave Sheridan from Ilke Homes, Trudi Sully from Mott McDonald and Rion Thomas from the Institute of Technology at Dudley College.

Here is a bit more information about Modular Technology in construction-

Volumetric modular technology reduces build times by an impressive 50-60% when compared to traditional processes – delivering a faster return on investment. Modular construction can also reduce risk for developers and contractors on a number of levels. Delivering enhanced predictability, the modular way lowers the financial risk and personal implications of delays, project overruns and accidents on site together with mitigating the impact of an increasingly volatile labour market.
