WBL 4014

Sequencer/Arpeggiator

The WBL 4014 Sequencer/Arpeggiator is a musical composition tool designed around a pattern-based-sequencing model. It is very good for drum and bass looping, and lends itself to dance-oriented or minimalist composition.

Additionally, since the WBL 4014 is implemented using the QuickTime Music Architecture, it allows you to sequence voice parameter changes as easily as you can sequence pitchbends. Custom synthesizer patches may be edited and stored from within the application.

The WBL 4014 is designed to be operated from a single window interface. There will never be a clutter of various windows to confuse the issue. This makes it ideal for real time use and improvisation. The WBL 4014 is a music creation tool, not a recorder. It is play only. There is no record button!

The WBL 4014 was originally designed and written for use by the electronic performance ensemble, Weird Blinking Lights. Special thanks go to Steve Lerner and Rocky Mullin, of WBL, for testing and design influence.
